Happy Saturday, Grace Vineyard Family and Friends,

The weekend is underway and it’s time for us to do our weekly update.

I’ll start off by telling you what I have in mind for our gathering tomorrow.

Going Deeper with the 3 Rs of Grace

Last Sunday I talked talked about what the Bible has to stay about a vision for the future and a mission for how to get there.  In that context, we talked about “the 3 Rs of Grace” — Real God, Real People, Restoring Lives.  It turns out there’s a lot for us to learn and apply in our lives on this topic, so this Sunday I’m planning on going deeper with the 3 Rs of Grace.  If you missed last Sunday, or just could use another refresher, I would recommend you watch or listen to the message.  Here it is on our YouTube channel:

And here it is on our GraceTalks.org podcast:

I do love seeing you face to face when we get together on Sunday mornings, but if you can’t be there in person, the next best thing is to join us on line. Here’s the info for that:  you can join us online on Zoom with this link Zoom Meeting ID  153 112 432, Passcode 684814 and you can also find our livestream on Facebook Live at facebook.com/gracevcf.

Friday after Thanksgiving is Thanksgiving in the Park

I know it’s a still little more than a month away, but I wanted to get this in all of our minds as the weeks start to fly by.  On Friday, November 28 (the day after Thanksgiving Day), we will be joining Convicted For Christ ministries in putting on a giant Thanksgiving Dinner for our unsheltered friends at Fireside Park in Oceanside.  Very soon we’ll start organizing volunteers for making turkeys and all the fixins, and most importantly, those who will come and serve.  So, mark your calendars now, and watch for details coming your way very soon.

Let’s Fill Up Our Benevolence Fund

We are starting to get closer to the holiday season, when requests for financial help tend to increase around here.  Would you pray about giving  an offering for benevolence in addition to your regular tithing?   It’s really true what Jesus said – “it is more blessed to give than to receive” (Acts 20:35).  If you choose to give a benevolence offering online, just mention “Benevolence” in the place where you can include a note about your donation. Thanks!

I hope you enjoy the rest of your Saturday!

With blessings and love,

Ron Ohst

Tithes and Offerings Online

THANKS for taking ownership in the life and ministry of Grace Vineyard!  And thanks to all of you who are stepping into a lifestyle of generosity with your tithes and offerings.  It really does take all of us doing our part with the income God has entrusted to us for His church. If you’d like to give your tithe or offering online, click the donate button below.  If you’re giving to a specific fund (like benevolence or missions), just be sure to say that when you are given an option to add a note with your donation.
