Happy Saturday, Grace Vineyard Family and Friends! This is a great weekend for some sweet fellowship.
After church tomorrow we’re going to have a potluck fellowship lunch. Many of you either signed up on the clipboard, or replied to a text message that we sent out yesterday. Thank you to those who let us know what you’ll be bringing. For the rest of you, please bring your favorite dish to share – main dish, salad, dessert – and plan to hang out over some delicious food right after church. We’ll have plates, napkins, utensils, and bottles of water available. I love these opportunities to get to know my Grace Family better. I can’t wait!
More Parables of the Kingdom
I’ve been learning a lot the last couple of weeks as we’ve listened to Jesus teach us about the Kingdom of God with His famous parables. We’re going to keep going right where we left off in Matthew 13 with 2 more short ones – the parable of the mustard seed and the parable of yeast in the dough. (Matthew 13:31-35). Next Mom 2 Mom Gathering is September 26
Are you a mom in need of support from other moms? Or are you a mom who has been there and wants to lend your support to others? Then you are welcome to Mom 2 Mom, a peer to peer and mentoring group designed to uplift, enrich, share and connect moms. We’ll gather Friday September 26th at 6pm at Grace Vineyard on the terrace for a program that will include sharing a meal, connecting, inspiration and resources. Ladies Retreat November 14-16th at Pine Valley
Ladies, you can begin to pay for our fall retreat. Private bath lodges are $270, shared bathroom lodges are $250 and dorm rooms are $215. There are a limited number of Private Bath Lodges available. You can pay online or place money/checks in the offering. Please note that the payment is for the retreat. In order to reserve the appropriate room, please email Kim Ohst and let her know what kind of room you are reserving when you make a payment. Make and Bake Sale Sunday, September 28th
Right after the Sunday morning service on September 28, we’ll be selling items to raise money for the women’s retreat scholarships. Please come by the table in the lobby this Sunday to sign up with what you can bring for the sale (use your imagination: craft items, baked goods, and more) and to sign up for scholarships if you’ll be needing one.
