The evening begins at 7:00PM and will be marked by worship, Bible teaching, and Spirit-led ministry. We’ll be led into worship with the very capable team of Chris Lizotte and Rick Kamrath (apoligies to Rick for not making into the graphic!) Chris and Rick have been leading people in worship at various churches in Southern California for decades, and are very gifted in their craft, both on the spiritual and musical planes. You will be drawn into an encounter with the Lord of Creation at this special event.
After we worship, Alexander Venter will be inspiring and exhorting us from the word of God. Keep reading to learn more about Alexander and Chris.
About Alexander Venter:
Alexander Venter has a teaching ministry since January 1975 when he became a church planter and pastor. He has planted & pastored churches in Zimbabwe, Cape Town, Johannesburg and Soweto. Ordained with the Assembly of God in 1975, he migrated to the Vineyard movement to work with John Wimber in southern California in 1982, and was part of the first Vineyard church plant in Johannesburg.
Alexander is married to Gill and they have two adult children, Zander and Misha-Joy. The Venter’s have lived in intentional Christian community for 23 years, and in 2013 relocated back to Johannesburg in response to a call for Alexander to pastor a Vineyard church called Following Jesus, in North Riding AH, Johannesburg.
Alexander ‘s passion is to make the treasures of the Kingdom available to all who want to follow Jesus, praying that God will use them for spiritual formation toward Christlikeness, in order to equip people for effective life and ministry in God’s Kingdom. He is the author of several books.

About Chris Lizotte:
Born and raised in Orange County, California, Chris Lizotte has served as the Worship Pastor at Vineyard Community Church in Laguna Niguel, CA, and served as the primary worship leader in other Orange County faith communities. Chris has released six solo albums for Metro1 Music and Vineyard Music. He has led worship for such events as The National Youth Leaders Convention, Promise Keepers, Campus Crusade as well as many other events across the Nation and Europe. Chris has also written songs for Crystal Lewis, Vineyard Music and Maranatha Music.
