Good afternoon, Grace Vineyard Family and Friends,

It’s a beautiful, Saturday afternoon.  Right now our ladies are at the Women’s Tea having wonderful time.  I saw some of the set up, and it was as elegant and beautiful as as ever!  I love to see so many moments of sweet and rich fellowship taking place on what appears on an almost daily basis in our church family.  Keep it up, Grace Vineyard!  Here’s some photos of what the room looked like as they were getting ready for the Tea.

 

Held by Grace, Known by Love

We’ve got a special treat lined up for this Sunday.  We have so many gifted Bible teachers in our congregation, and Richard “Snake” Ertel is one of them, for sure!  I’ve asked him to bring the Word this Sunday, and the title he has chosen is “Held by Grace, Known by Love”.  Salvation begins with God, is sustained by God, and is revealed through a transformed life—but it is meant to be lived out in unity, not argued over in division.  This sounds like it’s gonna be awesome!

Last week I brought a message in a new “occassional series” I’m calling “Aligning our Lives with the Heart of Jesus”. The message was on Contentment and Discontentment in the Kingdom of God with this description – In the Kingdom of God, contentment is not always a virtue and discontentment is not always a sin. Join Us For Sanctuary – Sundays at 6PM

I want to remind you about our relaunched Sunday evening service called “Sanctuary”.  Join us Sunday evening for a night of food and worship. “Sanctuary” is a community of Grace Vineyard that gathers around the table for a meal and conversation. Followed by worship through music and a message. We start at 6p.m. every Sunday night. Hope to see you 💞

National Day of Prayer, Thursday, May 7

Coming up on Thursday, May 7, at 6:00 PM is the annual National Day of Prayer. We’ll meet at the El Corazon Senior Center Courtyard with friends from many churches all over Oceanside to worship and pray for our nation.  The address is 3302 Senior Center Dr., Oceanside.  For more information please call or text 760-519-9180, or send an email to OceansideNDP@gmail.com.

And coming up in 7 days, next Saturday, we’ll have both our Men’s Breakfast and our Women’s Saturday Walk.

Monthly Men’s Breakfast, May 9, 9am

I think you know the drill:  Men, meet at Grace Vineyard at 8am on Saturday, May 9,  for a fresh cooked breakfast, cooked onsite by our own guys.  Typical fare includes French Toast, Bacon, Eggs, Potatoes, Orange Juice, and Coffee.  Can’t get much better than that! We follow up breakfast with worship and an inspiring message. This week our speaker will be Kevin Frye.  It’s gonna be awesome.

Monthly Women’s Walk, May 9th, 9:00 AM

Ladies, we hope you’ll join the Women of Grace for a fresh walk along the beach in Carlsbad.  Meet at the grassy area at the corner of Pine and Carlsbad Ave.  It’s always a great time of refreshing fellowship!  If you’re going to come, please let Kathy Green know by texting or calling her at 760-583-1779.  Have fun!
