Hello Grace Vineyard Family and Friends,
Greetings from New Braunfels, Texas. Steve Rogers and I are here for the Vineyard’s Missions Leaders Meeting with people from the Global Vineyard movement who are working in Missions. It’s been very cool, especially the opportunities to share conversations with people who I don’t get to see very often. I had lunch with Sunny Gilbert from North India one day, and it was great to catch up with him. Some of you will remember him visiting our church something like 9 years ago! Damas Kamfwa from Zambia is here too, and we have a special surprise for you. He’s flying back with Steve and me on Saturday night in time to speak at Grace Vineyard on Sunday morning!
Good News in Broken Vessels

Sunday morning Damas will open up 2 Kings 7:3-20 with a a sermon titled “Good News in Broken Vessels”. Damas is a great friend and an excellent preacher of the Word. I know we will all be inspired and challenged. We hope you can all be with us in person on Sunday, but if that’s not possible, you can join us online on Zoom with this link Zoom Meeting ID 153 112 432, Passcode 684814 and you can also find our livestream on Facebook Live at facebook.com/gracevcf.
Last week I preached a message called “The Suprising Satisfaction of Hunger and Thirst in the Kingdom of God” (I know…long title!) In the “upside down” Kingdom of God hunger and thirst are not a measure of lack, but a sign of abundance. Those who thirst the most for Jesus are the most satisfied people on earth. You can watch that sermon right here on our YouTube channel:
Baptism Next Sunday, February 15

Next Sunday, February 15, we are planning on having a baptism in our Sunday morning service. (Yes, we heat the water!). If you have become a follower of Jesus, but have not been baptized yet, this Sunday is for you! Please contact Steve Rogers right away – srogers@gracevcf.org/760-500-4324 – if you are thinking about getting baptized. He’ll give you all the information you need.
Grace Vineyard Merch Shop

This is a fun announcement to make. Ever wish you had a Grace Vineyard hoodie? Well, we’ve created an online Grace Vineyard Merch Shop. You go online and purchase things like hoodies, hats, totes, mugs, etc that our team has created, they make one for you, and ship it directly to you. Here’s a shirt that I just ordered for myself:

I think I’ll wear it on a Sunday morning as soon as it arrives. When we created the site, we chose the option where the church makes no money from these sales, so the prices you see are the lowest this company has. It’s a fun way to represent our church family and to start conversations that might easily turn into “Holy Hello’s”. You can get to the shop at this link: https://grace-vineyard-merch.myspreadshop.com, or you can just use the QR code in the graphic above. Is there something you’d like to see there that isn’t there already? Just ask and we’ll see if we can make it available for you.
