Hello Grace Vineyard and Friends!

Happy Friday to you.

It is indeed a very special Friday for us as tonight about 75 men from our church and around 10 other churches will be gathering in one of the meeting rooms at Palomar Christian Conference Center for the opening night of our Men’s Retreat!  I’ll be driving up early this afternoon.  PLEASE take some time right now to pray for us.  I am praying that we men will have transformational encounters with the Holy Spirit, the Word of God, and other men that will shift the trajectory of our lives toward the life that Jesus is calling us to.  Retreats are intensive and life changing, but all of that comes through prayer.

Here’s some other stuff that’s going on around Grace Vineyard that you’ll want to be aware of:

California Will Be Saved Tour at Oceanside Amphitheater

Coming up Saturday, March 26, the California Will Be Saved Tour comes to the Oceanside Amphitheater.  It’s at 5pm, and will be worship and evangelism.  Their mission statement is simple – “Our mission is to bring the message of Salvation to a broken and lost generation in California through worship, prayer, the proclamation of the Gospel, and hosting the Presence of Jesus everywhere we go. If California is saved, the world can be saved.”  Invite everyone you can to come with you! Check out this video from their the team to get a better picture of what this is all about:

I haven’t received all the details yet, but I believe all the Oceanside churches will be invited to bring teams to pray with people who are giving their lives to Christ.  As soon as I hear more info on that front, I’ll send out another communication to let you know. But for now, just know that this is an event where people are going to hear about how to begin a relationship with Jesus.

Pre-Event Worship & Prayer at Grace Vineyard

On Friday, March 25, at 6pm, the California Will Be Saved Team is leading a Pre-Event Worship & Prayer Night in our Grace Vineyard  building at 6pm.  Join Jesus-Followers from all over to call on God for an outpouring of His Spirit on Oceanside and all of California.

Ladies Walk Is This Saturday, March 19th

On Saturday morning while the men are up at Palomar Mountain, the Ladies will be having their monthly Ladies Walk.  Meet at Batiquitos Lagoon Nature Center, 7380 Gabbiano Lane, Carlsbad at 9am.  Please call or text Kathy at 760-583-1779 to confirm that you will be joining the ladies.  It’s always a light walk with wonderful fellowship!

Sign Up Now for the Ladies Afternoon Tea, April 23

Ladies get ready for an Afternoon Tea at Grace Vineyard.  It’s on Saturday, April 23rd, from 1-4pm, and the ticket price is $10.  Feel free to dress up and wear a hat.  Bring your own favorite teacup.

SoCal Vineyard Region Conference June 23-25

It’s time to get together with the other Vineyard churches in our Southern and Central California Region!  We do this every 2 years. The Central and Southern California regional conference is coming up on June 23-25th at Inland Vineyard Church in Corona. It’s time to worship, enjoy who we are as the Vineyard, pray for one another, and laugh and connect as we always have. The last two years have been anything but normal and we are in a season of change. We are entering into God’s future for our movement, therefore we believe this to be a crucial time to gather together to celebrate who God is and what Vineyard is.  Click here for the latest info: https://www.inlandvineyard.org/regional-conference

Special Guest Luke Bricker Speaking This Sunday

Since I’m going to be at the Men’s Retreat this weekend, I’ve invited my good friend, pastor Luke Bricker to bring the Word this Sunday.  The title of his message is “The Dimension of the Kingdom”.  The central teaching of Jesus *is not* afterlife, systematic theology, or good moral behavior; The central message of Jesus is the Kingdom of God. So, what IS this cryptic Kingdom that Jesus keeps talking about in riddles, parables, and metaphors? This Sunday, Luke will help us explore together how just a little (quantum) shift in our paradigm can open us up to a whole new world of Divine reality.
