Hi Everybody!

I’m hoping to get my weekly email update out to you a day early this week, cuz I want to make sure you don’t forget about our special event tomorrow night.

Our good friend CJ Orndorff is putting on a night of worship here at Grace on Friday night at 7pm.  CJ is an awesome musician AND he overflows with love for Jesus.   This is going to be a great way to start our weekend, and I hope you’ll be able to join us.  Our evening starts at 7pm.

Secondly, I wanted to let you know that we have very special treat on Sunday morning.  Jenny and Josue Hernandez, the leaders of the Vineyard Honduras missions partnership are in town and will be speaking in our morning service.

Josue and Jenny met in Honduras. Josue is from Honduras and his wife, Jenny was a missionary there for 7 years. They are leaders at the Vineyard Church North Phoenix in Arizona. They have been serving in Honduras as a part of the Vineyard Honduras Partnership for several years and leading the partnership since July 2016. They love traveling to Honduras and spending time with the people. They are actively leading the Honduras Partnership by building up indigenous leaders, supporting church plants, and reaching the people of this beautiful nation.  Steve and Lisa Rogers will be traveling to Honduras with them this coming Summer, so we are especially excited for this opportunity for them to connect with our entire congregation this Sunday.

New Women’s Bible Study Begins May 3rd

I also want to remind the women that our next Women’s Bible Study is a study of the life of Elijah with Priscilla Shirer.  This will be a 14 week study on Monday nights, beginning May 3rd, and it will meet via Zoom.

Watch this promotional video to introduce our topic:

Each week will meet on Zoom at 6:30 for prayer, and then begin our study at 7pm.  Workbooks are $20.  Please call Robin Spillman at 760.583.3677 for all the information!

And with that, I’ll sign off.  Have a wonderful weekend!

Blessings and love to each of you,

Ron Ohst

Tithes and Offerings Online

Thank you for your generosity and faithfulness! We could not do what we do without you. We believe God has chosen to meet the material needs of His church through the tithes and offerings of His people. (Tithe means literally 1/10 or 10% of our income). We encourage everybody to be committed to a church family, and if Grace Vineyard is where you are committed, we’ve provided this online tool for you; click on the “donate” button below to get started. (Note: if you’re giving an offering for the building fund or the benevolence fund in addition to your tithe, please mention that in the notes section after you land on our paypal page). THANKS for taking ownership in the life and ministry of Grace Vineyard – it takes all of us!
